A Senior Work Day Test Specialist

Job description
Within the PolaHRIs programm the HR Core system is replaced by Work Day.Furthermore several other applications are upgraded or impacted. The programm is situated in Amsterdam and is supported by several International external parties, partly located on the location, partly located abroad.

General knowledge/experience
• Experience with Workday testing and preferable End-to-End testing and Functional Acceptance Testing, including third party applications.
• Experience in test preparation, test execution, defect management and reporting.
• Strong domain expertise in HR.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and Dutch) and working experience at client locations.
• Knowledge of Payroll.

Technical knowledge/experience
• Familiarity with HP ALM (QC 11).
• Work Day Knowledge.
• Experience with test automation for Workday, preferable with Kainos Smart.

Competences
• Able to work in a multi-cultural, international environment.
• Experience with test automation for Workday, preferable with Kainos Smart.
• Experience in working in large teams.

Tasks
• Review design documentation and End-to-End Business Process descriptions.
• Prepare test scenarios based on the design documentation and based on the End-to-End Business Process descriptions.
• Prepare test cases based on test scenarios and on design documentation.
• Ensure proper coverage in test cases through detail understanding of the requirement and peer reviews.
• Understand, identify, support and create test data required.
• Perform test execution at End-to-End / Functional Acceptance Test.
• Ensure proper coverage in test execution through prioritization, experience and lessons learnt.
• Handle defect creation, analysis and retest.
• Share weekly status report as applicable based on current progress.
• Interacting with third parties for End-to-End testing (FAT).

Languages
• Excellent communication skills in English (and Dutch) and working experience at client locations.

General
