OPDRACHT

the Software Developer works both independently and in a team. He translates feature requests into technical solutions and implements and tests these solutions. He designs, builds and documents robust systems, and organises his work on the basis of step-by-step plans. In addition, he offers technical support to the connected countries (helpdesk function).

The Software Developer:

* Works closely together with the IT project manager

* Works regularly together with the 1st line help-desk

* Reports regularly to the project team

and has the following duties:

* 2nd/3rd line help-desk support

* JUnit Test development

* Java server development

* JavaScript client development

* System documentation

* Configure Devops environment

FCInet is an innovative international decentralised network of computer systems enabling the participants to co-operate in (financial) crime fighting.

Each system consists of a server (Java), database (Postgres/Oracle), a thin PHP communication layer and a client application (JavaScript). Communication is always peer-to-peer and secured through SSL over VPN.

Participants can exchange information with each other, either through case files or through pseudonimised information filters.

FCInet is managed, developed and maintained by a small team (about 10) of business and IT specialists.

Werkervaring en -denkniveau

Algemeen

Completed education in the field of computer science / information science (at a minimum HBO level).

Extensive experience with the development, production and support of distributed dynamic data analysis systems and flexible plug-in architectures in a (legal, technical, organizational) complex international environment.

Demonstrable experience with assignments in ICT environments and applications with classified information (security services, justice, police, etc.).

Independently effective (knowing exactly what is happening, being able to analyze problems remotely and resolving them adequately and quickly) .

Can develop software for a complex IT environment (such as a distributed analysis environment) where direct access to the IT systems and data is not always possible .
