Tarief indicatief EUR 65,- / EUR 70,- of in overleg

Buitenlandse dienstreizen zijn niet in het tarief inbegrepen.

OPDRACHT

The senior network/system engineer is in conjunction with the Senior Infrastructure Architect responsible for the design, build and day-to-day maintenance operations of the FCInet network.

Future solutions built by the Senior Network / System Engineer will need to meet the FCInet security standards, be able to withstand third party audits and penetration testing and meet GDPR requirements.

This job is demanding of your knowledge and skillset. You’ll need your analytical mind to quickly understand dependencies between infrastructure components and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

FCInet is an innovative international decentralised network of computer systems enabling the participants to co-operate in (financial) crime fighting.

Each system consists of a server (Java), database (Postgres/Oracle), a thin PHP communication layer and a client application (JavaScript). Communication is always peer-to-peer and secured through SSL over VPN.

Participants can exchange information with each other, either through case files or through pseudonimised information filters.

FCInet is managed, developed and maintained by a small team (about 10) of business and IT specialists.

Werkervaring en -denkniveau

Algemeen

at least HBO (dutch) level college degree or vocational track record at a similar level

minimally 5 years of experience as an allrounder in system and network engineering

minimally 5 years of experience with and knowledge of professional ICT infrastructures

Specifiek

Networking and Firewall technologies (Fortinet/ Cisco), VPN

VMWare virtualization or KVM Virtualization

GNU/Linux OS, comfortability on the Linux commandline, configuration scripting

Kennis

Specific knowledge of Cisco catalyst series, Sina, Fortinet Fortimanager and Fortigate 200/300 series,

Fortiguard, Ubuntu Server, Docker, Ansible or puppet or chef or similar scripting

DevOPS continuous integration/deployment provisioning

(Jira/Confluence/Bamboo/Ansible)

Experience with documenting

Available zsm (in elk geval per 15-10-2018)
