For our client in Amsterdam Harvey Nash is looking for a IFRS 16 Project manager

Start: Start in August or September 2017

Duration: 1 year

Hours: fulltime

As of January 2019 our client will apply IFRS 16 Leases. This new standard has significant impact on financial reporting, accounting, processes and systems.

We are looking for a project manager who will lead and coordinate all activities that are needed to become compliant with this new standard.

Elements of the project will be:

* Awareness creation in the organization

* Tool selection

* Data clean up

* Screening of contracts

* IT project to connect systems

* Design of calculation rules

* Creation of control framework to ensure ongoing compliance

* Documentation of applied methodology in view of external financial audit

The project manager will report to the Manager Finance Operations from the Dutch operation and work in alignment with the IFRS 16 project manager.

Requirements:

* Academic level

* Work experience as financial auditor and/or controller

* Track record in managing complex accounting or IT projects

* Experience in ICT sector is preferred (e.g. Datacenter or IT/Telco network operations)

* Minimum 15 years of experience
