Our client, an international, independent medical emergency relief organisation based in Amsterdam, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst – BI. You will be developing strategy and vision, managing and engaging stakeholders, working with data sets and sources and making sure the objectives and requirements are met.

The organisation believes that the way intelligence is currently used can be much improved by implementing and optimizing BI tools and processes. The Senior Business Analyst – BI will play a pivotal role in that transformation, by developing and delivering a programme of work that will result in better reporting and forecasting.

The main repsonsibilities are:

• Initiate and coordinate business intelligence initiatives;


• Develop and deliver a strategy to improve reporting, forecasting and diagnostic capabilities through the use of BI tools and processes;


• Analyse and review existing data sets and sources;


• Make sure departments optimize their BI capacity, train users;


• Determine (with the ICT department) the necessary software and system requirements;


• Report progress and indicators to senior management.

The Senior Business Analyst – BI we are looking for should have at least:

• 3+ years of experience as a senior BA or senior BI-specialist;


• Experience in BI projects in international organisations;
  
• Strong analytical skills;
  
• Fluency in English, both written and oral;
  
• Experience in working in multi-cultural and international environments;
