The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise. we are looking for candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device industry, aerospace and defense, automotive or high tech industry. This role requires strong Information Systems architecture and governance experience with excellent business process mapping knowledge along with technical attitude in defining and implementing information systems architecture solutions.

As a Technical System / Application Specialist you will:

• Translate requirements into technical solutions that meet business needs
  
• Maintain knowledge of IS quality and compliance policies, SOPs and associated documents
  
• Promote and develop communication between the business, technical staff and suppliers
  
• Attend and/or facilitate cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations
  
• Handle the MES and Packaging Execution Platform related service requests, incidents and change requests.
  
• Ensure that all systems are maintained in a quality manner and in compliance with regulations

• Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or the Life Sciences.
  
• Manufacturing automation & IT experience in biopharmaceutical packaging facilities 
  
• Minimum 6 years experience in application development, system administration, or application support
  
• Knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL v3)
  
• Proven experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and interfaces e.g. OLE for Process Control (OPC)
  
• Experience with Serialization, PLC/SCADA
  
• Experience with Windows Server 2008 and 2012
  
• Extensive experience with translating business requirements to detailed functional and technical design.
  
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  
• Strong communication, influencing and persuasion skills
  
• Act as liaison between the business and technical team.
  
• Fluency in English, Dutch not required!
