The Network Engineer is responsible for the daily operation of the installed WAN, its related components and the Net Datacenters. The daily operation includes the handling of Changes and Incidents according to the defined Change Management and Incident Management processes/policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to the provided network services


• Monitor, analyze and report on availability of the provided network services (WAN, Core Network, WiFi, VoIP, Data Center services).


• Identify and define system security requirements. monitor security measures for the provided network services.


• Manage 3rd parties for the managed services and the agreed service levels


• Ensure that Changes and Incidents are handled according to the defined Change Management and Incident Management process and policies


• Provide update and communication concerning maintenance and changes


• Create and maintain documentation


• Contribute to projects that involve the Net services. Provide input on technical designs


• Propose and implement technical-, functional- and process improvements
