What will be your role?

As Scrum Master you will facilitate and coach several development teams and the Product Owners. Supporting them in working together, understanding how to work as independent operating teams and how to take responsibilities within the teams. This involves actively engaging team members and stimulating them to manage expectations and deliver as promised.

What will you do with us? You will ….
· Coach teams and product owners, give and receive feedback on continuous basis, and commit to make them better
· facilitate group processes, knowledge sessions and workshops;
· stimulate the teams to pro actively manage expectations and respond to the needs of internal and external customers and stakeholders;
· organize planning sessions, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews;
· organize the retrospectives and facilitate improvements in regards to cooperation, way of working and team behavior;
· ensure transparency in regards to the deliverables the team commits itself to and the escalation process;
· solve and/or escalate impediments and monitor them. Also chase actions where needed;
· identify / discover opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity and in engagement; then translate into actions
· be aware of changes in resources or need for specific experience and report this to the Resource Manager;
· report progress, impediments, risks and learnings on weekly basis;
· actively participate in the Governance meetings, as representative of your teams, with input regarding learnings and impediments; and
· invest in working together with your team and you will stay actively involved.

What experience do you have?
Within the IT organization we identify 3 levels of Scrum Masters:

Level 2: The same as level 1, but you also understand how to align and educate the product owners and managers, within the Scrum best practices.

As a Scrum Master within the organisation you have experience on at least level 2. You have…

· at least a minimum of 5 years of experience in the position of Scrum Master, preferably in a multi cultural environment;
· a good understanding of the impediments arising in a multicultural development environment;
· you have experience as a Software developer;
· knowledge in utilities sector is a high advantage;
· hands-on experience with different development methods & technologies;
· experience in coaching teams and individuals in complex software development projects and processes;
· experience with conflict handling and mediation;
· experience with working together with other Scrum Masters and balancing team differences in way of working with overall alignment on way of working across teams;
· experience with innovation games;
· experience with experimenting with new ideas within the Agile domain;
· experience with different Agile models;
· continuous drive to develop yourself in regards to new Agile best practices; and
· you are a certified Scrum Master (PSM 1, or CSM).

We work together with 50 developers, divided over 6 Scrum teams. Amongst these are 30 international developers.
