Revision planner

Purpose of function

To ensure efficient and adequate working processes, systems and procedures for the planning of revisions and projects, both for the own assets of RWE, but also for third parties outside of RWE/GCC. Performing the execution of the planning, support the revision manager with steering information. Providing of specialist knowledge and expertise in the discipline of revision planning and project planning.

Revision-/project planning is regarded as a core competence of the Technical Support Department of GCC

Specification of tasks

* To secure planning processes and procedures.

* Provides working processes, methodologies, procedures in the field of revision- and project planning.

* Supports the managerial processes with planning information, and describes planning risks.

* Delivers integral planning for revisions and projects, and supports the revision manager-/project manager with progress reports. Synchronizes the input of internal and external stake holders in the revision or project.

Execution:

* Designs the structure of planning for the revision or project.

* Supports the revision-/ project manager with the design of the revision-/project planning and progress report, including milestones, critical path, shut down/ start up planning, during all phases of the project

* Combines the planning of sub-contractors in overall revision/-project planning.

* Supports the revision-/project manager in the optimization of the planning.

Monitoring/checking/reporting:

* Collects and provides all necessary technical and planning information for adequate and timely reporting.

* Supports the revision-/project manager in reporting of progress, the discussion of bottle-necks, and the potential corrective actions.

Required competencies:

* 5-10 years of relevant experience in designing, executing and monitoring of complex revision-/project planning.

* Flexibility to accept long time assignments on location, resulting in frequent periods not being home.

* You have an analytical mind, you are diplomatic and flexible. You are quality driven, creative and able to motivate all stakeholders to give optimal input to revision-/project planning.

* Education and experience in revision-/project management can be verified.

* Planning and organizing, customer driven, analysis of problems, good judgment, cogency, cooperation and quality driven are your standard competencies.

* Good language skills in Dutch, German and English in writing and speaking.

* Adequate knowledge in SAP, Excell, MS projects.
