Project
Global Information Services (GIS) has a worldwide responsibility for all IT processes, solutions and services. Global Solutions (GS) is a key component of GIS and covers the collaborative management of business relationships and the design, development and implementation of common solutions by following a consistent and rigorous programme and project management methodology.

Description of activities
In the Centre of Excellence Programme Delivery, we aim to implement and roll-out a global project management framework that will support a clear, consistent and rigorous way of working regardless of region or location. Supporting tooling (CA PPM) will be provided to realize global transparency.
In the past period the framework is defined and stabilized. For the implementation, transition and embedment throughout regions and Operating Company’s (OpCo’s) in the upcoming years we are searching a project manager. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in Project Management, but also experience in Change management. As the Project Manager will work in an international environment, this global experience is a prerequisite.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Deliver the programme/project within scope, time, budget and quality and in line with methodology, policies, standards and working practices
– Establish a project governance organisation with clear roles and responsibilities and an effective process for escalating issue and communicating decisions
– Actively engage people to ensure the right team is in the right place at the right time and foster an open and safe project environment for the team to work effectively and efficiently
– Identify and actively engage key internal and external stakeholders and establish collaborative, win-win relations
– Realize the right amount of change management to ensure embedment of the implemented solutions.
– Manage and report on project planning, progress, financials, issues and risks according P3M standards
– Develop and manage the execution, deployment and transition plans across the OpCos
– Act as counterpart to local staff responsible for transition
– Manage project budget decisions as well as financial risks and opportunities
– Construct cost plan, secure funding and actively manage and control spend, forecasts and budgets
– Proactively identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues during the life of the project

Specific experience
– 7 years+ experience in Project Management
– Executing projects using a project management framework
– Execution of deployments in a Global environment
– Hands-on mentality
– Strong communicator
– Strong on stakeholder management
– Experience in change management

Required knowledge
– Prince II
– PMI PMBOK
– Project Management Tooling: Clarity is beneficial
