You are the Project Manager that takes full ownership in order to realize software engineering infrastructure projects and /or non-standard changes in time and on budget.
You get enthusiastic by having in-depth understanding of key project content. Reaching strong alignment between business and IT in general and all project stakeholders in specific is piece of cake for you.

Time, Budget and Scope are driving topics for you. Besides this you can ensure accurate, timely and to the point project status reporting on critical key issues and actions embedded in project plan and process. You differentiate main points from details, and secure simple and concise formulation of project related documents like Project Initiation Document (PID), blueprint, requirements, detailed project plan.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Project Reporting & Monitoring:
– Ensure timely delivery & quality of overall reporting and project management deliverables.
– Prepare communication and escalations on issues, risks and required mitigation actions to the project sponsor and stakeholders.
• Project management:
– Understand the business requirements and ensure that 'the product' will satisfy these.
– Measure project deliverables on quality and completeness regularly to ensure that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
• Improvements:
– Capture lessons learned during the project and share these pro-actively with Project Board at project milestones (or tollgates) and closure, and provide (mitigating) actions.
– Contribute to the development and implementation of quality standards.

The kind of projects you will be working on when you start as Project Manager Software Engineering Infrastructure:
• Implement a software development environment for designing the new EPS3 platform
• Providing a reliable environment for Continuous Integration for the BL Apps environment.

Projects vary in size and time. Larger projects go over 1MEUR and up to 1 year lead time.
You will be working with a (small) team of Software Infrastructure specialists, software domain architects like the development, test, build and release environment, but also with business stake holders.

Education
At last a Bachelor degree in field of Technology, IT or Business.

Experience
Are you the Project Manager that we are looking for?
• 7+ years hands-on experience as a Project Manager:
• Proven track-record in leading multi-disciplinary project/program teams;
• Sound knowledge of project management methodologies like PRINCE2, PMBOK and Scrum/Agile
• Background in GIT/Stash/Jira, Subversion and/or Clearcase/Clearquest is a strong pre;
• Fluent in English.
