This project & program management position plans, monitors and manages projects from
initiation through completion. Secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. It manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. At the higher levels, incumbents manage large multifaceted projects; at lower levels incumbents may be concerned with clearly identifiable elements or functions within a larger project.

EXPERTISE
For the job, an expert level of conceptual and functional knowledge is required. Job holders are recognized as specialists within own technical/subject area within the organization. The job requires good knowledge of best practices and understanding of how own discipline
contributes to the business unit. In addition, this knowledge and understanding are applied to identify internal- and external business issues. Furthermore, the job requires good commercial awareness about products and services delivered by others in the market. A Bachelor/Master degree plus a minimum of 5 years of working experience is required for this job.

GUIDANCE
The job entails leading functional teams and/or project teams. These projects usually have a moderate level of complexity and possibly risk. The job is performed independently, with only guidance and direction received in complex situations. The job initiates policy improvement of own functional area.

COMPLEXITY
The problems encountered in the job are complex and/or are problems for which no solutions exist. In order to solve these problems, the job uses one's own judgement based on advanced analytical thought. In addition, the job guides team members in solving problems in the functional area, based on existing solutions and procedures.

IMPACT
The job has an impact through the joint responsibillity of the achievement of the discipline's
objectives. The work is guided by the policies of own discipline. The job primarily has an impact on the functional area.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
The job requires to be able to explain complex or sensitive information and is able to negotiate internally and at more senior levels. In addition, acquired communication and diplomacy skills are used to communicate difficult concepts and persuade others to adopt a different point of view.

• Preparation and Participation in Release Planning (program backlog refinement, preparation to release planning, involved in story definition and drafting the team’s specific objectives for the upcoming sprint/release)

• A thorough understanding of the customer needs
• A basic knowledge of how software is developed and deployed. Knowledge and experience with active stakeholder management.

Hourly rate: max 60 euro all-in
