Senior Project Manager

What is your role as project manager TPC?

The project manager TPC is, within the assignment provided, responsible for realization of the Clients Private Cloud from cradle to grave. Acting within the established ConnectIT governance the project manager drives the realization of TPC with the intent to be able to insource all that is considered strategic IT by the end of 2016 and at the same time being able to efficiently deploy basic IT and generic IT services. This for both NL and DE. The design of TPC is left to the IMC office, the project is executing the build phase and preparing the run phase.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

* Overall leadership of the project team.

* Delivering agreed upon results within time & budget and according to agreed upon quality standards.

* Building and implementing the TPC technology;

* Designing and implementing the necessary maintenance and governance processes;

* Adjusting the organizational setup to facilitate deployment of the TPC.

* Setting up and implementing the build factory and run factory by December 2016.

The project manager TPC reports directly to the manager basic IT as TPC executive and the TPC steerco.

What do we expect from you?

* The candidate at least has a diploma related to EQF level 7 (Master, University) Academic working level and a relevant university degree (eg. Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration)

* The field of expertise is relevant and should be utilities and/or information technology.

* Experience with large scale data centre environments is a must.

* At least 10 years of relevant experience in the field of project / program management and IT service management is a must.

* Can proof experience in heading large scale enterprise wide change initiatives.

* Can proof experience with heading large scale projects, steering at least 20+ employees.

* Can proof experience with coordinating multiple parties (customers / suppliers).

* Can proof experience with implementing and knowledge of cloud technology.

* Can proof experience with being accountable for running a IT maintenance department.

* Can proof experience with IT transformations (organizational as well as technological).

* Can proof extensive experience with an agile way of working / methods.

* Experience with executing sourcing projects (in-, out and multisourcing) is an advantage.

* Experience with: scrum and devops is considered an advantage.

* Formal certifications (IMPA, PMBOK) in project management are an advantage.

* Competences: decisiveness, strong judgemental ability, goal oriented, delivery power, cooperation / collaboration, customer focussed.

* Well-organized, self-starter, cooperative, enthusiastic and natural leader, able to inspire the team regarding the change program, maximum teamwork and results.

* Strong and inspiring communicator, able to build and maintain relationships on multiple levels.

* Excellent language skills, both in English and preferably in German and/or Dutch.
