Programme manager.

(knowledge of insurance products and financial derivatives)

Responsibilities:

* Plan, implement and manage of assigned project and in accordance with the appropriate project management policies and procedures * Drive effective project delivery, deliver acceptable speed of execution and ensure that organizational needs of scope, quality, timeline, and budget are met * Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project in project group and steering committee meetings and garner support among the parties concerned * Supervising the work of workstream teams and ensure delivery of the products assigned to the Team * Track resource allocations against project estimates along with forecasting and estimating project requirements * Perform risk management responsibilities to include assessing risks, mitigating risk, forecasting potential issues and escalating issues * Co-ordinate with other Team Leads/Project Managers/Technical Leaders to ensure interoperability and coherence for smooth functioning of the project * Responsible for quality assurance and works according to the procedures and guidelines of the organization, identifies points for improvement and makes proposals for improvements * Make an independent contribution to ensuring content- and discipline-oriented quality and the reuse of project management knowledge, skills, instruments and training

Required:

* A bachelor or master degree, Business Administration or other relevant degree

* At least 5 years of experience in the Finance industry as project manager

* Knowledge of insurance products and financial derivatives

* Handled at least medium-sized to large sized team and technically complex project

* Possess a professional project management accreditation such as APM/Prince2/Agile are desirable

* Demonstrable experience of successfully completing projects, taking them from initial concept through to completion and into BAU

* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Dutch is desirable

* Excellent problem solving skills
