Supply Chain Manager (permanent vacancy).

For our client, a very successful startup in a production environment, we are looking for a supply Chain Manager. As a Supply Chain Manager you will be part of the management team and your core responsibility is setting up a smooth supply chain environment. The company is planning an enormous global growth so you must be able to set this up for several plants.

In order to achieve a smooth process you work closely with the managers of other departments like Procurement and Production to assure a careful planning. In order to do so you are familiar with the lead time principles. It is most important that the assembly line can proceed its process.

Your main tasks:
· The forecast must be translated from sales to production
· Consulting with the Planning Department to determine when a new line should be taken into production. You are responsible to provide the Production Department with the right product in time.
· Work closely with Sales, Procurement and Production

What is your profile:
· Experience in a production environment is required
· You have a bachelor degree
· You are a self starter
· You are able to give strategic advice
· You have a hands on mentality / a “just do it” mentality
· Your knowledge of the English language is fluently
· You are willing to travel 30% of your time, starting with Belgium and the USA.
