Supply Chain Management and Product Lifecycle management can be found on several levels, but the basic responsibility of the PLM Configuration Manager (CM Manager) is to plan, coordinate and execute CM activities in close cooperation with other functions (Procurement, Marketing, Service, Manufacturer, Supplier, Q&R and R&D) in the IGT-systems organization. He/she is responsible to keep the Product Life Data Management (PLDM) archive complete and consistent. He/she is operational leader of regarding CM-activities, improvements, and tooling. He/she pro-actively contributes to improvements in the method of working regarding the CM-process and tooling (introducing Windchill), and if applicable updates the QMS accordingly.
