General Summary:

The Network & Security Specialist supports the overall network security and ensures documentation; policies and software are up to date. He/she installs upgrades, monitors’ network performance and identifies network requirements and potential security issues.

Accountabilities:

* Support LAN administration: server administration (Virtual servers, DNS, Files, Applications, MPLS, etc.), LAN resources monitoring (Disk space, software application, computer/printer connections, etc.), backup systems and procedures.

* Support WAN administration: maintenance network links between the various Europe locations and business partners (Stores, Warehouse, US, various offices and showrooms).

* Support VOIP administration: maintenance of call centre system and infrastructure.

* Support for the overall network security and ensuring documentation and policies are up to date.

* He/ She supports new software applications implementations and software upgrades for the European organization.

* Keep up to date with all network security news and signals potential security threads as soon as possible.

* Work proactively with global IT within the organization to implement security practices that meet defined policies and standards for information security.

* Continuously seek for improvements and new technologies to support the business.

* Ensure the end users have a seamless work experience by providing high level of support and fast resolution of issues.

* Provide ad-hoc and back up support for Helpdesk.

Pre-requisites:

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:

* Master/ Bachelor degree in Computer science or related field.

* 3 – 5 years of experience supporting and supervising Enterprise Network Infrastructure and security.

* Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft product lines and Windows specific technologies (e.g. Windows Server 2008-2012, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policies, SSCM, Hyper-V, scripting).

* CISCO certifications.

* Strong knowledge of SonicWall products.

* Advanced networking knowledge: L2,L3, ISR, BGP, OSPF, VPN (SSL/IPSEC)

* At least one significant experience in administrating Talari and/or Riverbed SteelHeads.

* Problem solving skills in stress situation.

* Fluent in English required, additional European languages are considered a plus.

* Flexible attitude & good team player.

* Able to work with remote and cross functional teams.

* Proactive with a “can do” attitude.

* Ability to work on own initiative.

* Strong linkage with the business and mission statement of this client.
