Voor een directe eindklant in Schiphol is Harvey Nash op zoek naar een Netwerk Engineer.

Start: z.s.m.

Duur: 4 maanden

Inzet: fulltime

Main Responsibilities:

Network installation and build of new projects, products and services

Implementation and raising of change requests for the connectivity requirements outlined in Low Level Designs,

Products/projects/services shall include:

Interactive services applications virtualization

DTV connectivity implementations (Horizon, Dawn, Helios, OBO)

IT systems connectivity

Voice connectivity deployments.

Extrahop/DDS *

Config changes will be made on Data Centre networking equipment covering:

Checkpoint Firewalls

F5 Loadbalancers

Radware Loadbalancers

Cisco Nexus Switch/Routers

Juniper QFabric Switch/Routers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Broad and deep knowledge of IT Infrastructure and ISP (DNS, CNR, MX, Voice Carriers …)

Experience of storage switch fabric, load balancer, and application switches

Strong knowledge of security infrastructure like VPN, IPS, application control, DLP, ACS

Firewall/ADC certifications ( Checkpoint, F5, Radware) and Routing and Switching (Cisco)

HBO or Bachelor degree or similar level in a technical degree

5 years+ industry experience

Good communicational, organizational skills; team player

Experience required:

Checkpoint firewalls, F5 and Radware ADCs, Cisco switches/routers, Tufin Key Measures:

Availability of network and connectivity, can be measured by number of incidents arising from unavailability of network connectivity.

The main responsibility of the Network Infrastructure Operations team is to ensure the stability and integrity of Data Centre network in all IT and ISP environments on an on-going basis. The services need to be available on a 24/7 basis. The team is responsible for management of networking equipment: DC routers/switches, firewalls and adc’s.
