The Manager Global Centre of Excellence (CoE) is accountable for managing the IT demand for a specific global business function (HR) and successful delivery of IT solutions compliant with the enterprise architecture. The Manager Global CoE owns the end-to-end relationships to the business function and is responsible for the design and built of IT Solutions taking into account the full life cycle of the solution. Furthermore, the Manager Global CoE drives the alignment of the IT strategy with the functional strategy resulting in the formulation of a strategic multi (3) year roadmap (as part of investment portfolio management process). The Manager Global CoE (and their team) acts as liaison of GIS to the global business functions for all IT related matters.
Within any activity the Manager Global CoE (Function) will need to manage programme- or project-related items within the allocated tasks to his/her functional area in accordance with GIS programme- and project management standards. Within the functional area a Manager Global CoE (Function) may also be allocated and expected to manage programme- and project management tasks on the assigned activities based on content, availability and project characteristics like scope, complexity and throughput time.
The Manager Global CoE (Function) is expected to:
- Understand other’s perspectives and actively partner with and challenge others
- Look at services from a user perspective and monitor the most impactful KPIs (including customer satisfaction) together with our partners and the business
- Ensure the collation and analysis of financial information to ensure value driven decision are made and the impact to the organisation clearly articulated
- Develop win-win, collaborative relationships that add clear value to all internal and external stakeholders
- Actively embrace and promote change, especially from a business perspective
- Lead by example and actively engage and motivate the team
