Binnen de servicedesk afdeling ben je als ambassadeur eindverantwoordelijk voor het optimaal laten functioneren van de producten en diensten. Wij zoeken voor deze opdrachtgever op dit moment een junior netwerkbeheerder die ervaring heeft met complexe netwerk problematieken (MPLS, VLAN, LAN, Proxy, Routers, Switches etc..) voor het registreren en oplossen van incidenten op het gebied van networking. Ervaring in een soortgelijke functie, en een goede pragmatische en theoretische kennis van het vakgebied zijn een vereiste.

• Troubleshooting and solving connectivity problems with websites, applications and ftp servers on 270 locations in 22 countries 
  
• Troubleshooting DNS issues 
  
• Resolving, assigning network related incidents that could not be resolved by 1st line/2nd line 
  
• Translate information from the monitoring regarding major and critical incidents and delegation of the escalation process 
  
• Responsible for the communications regarding incidents between local IT, European IT and third parties 
  
• Preparing tickets for 3rd line engineers, possibly including solution suggestion 
  
• Analyze the logs of network equipment
  
• Investigating proxy, WAN and response issues through Wireshark captures and tcpdumps 
  
• Advising on the proper distribution and extension of the load balancer proxies, caching proxies and firewalls as a result of analysis of log files 
  
• Configuration preparation and management of Cisco core switches, ACLs and VLANs 
  
• Investigating QoS issues, traffic analysis with DynaTrace/Netflow tools en ensure that sufficient bandwidth is available
  
• Creating configuration changes regarding Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco AnyConnect Access and Site2Site VPNs (pré)
