Information Security Project manager

Startdate: a.s.a.p.

Period: 6 Months +

Travel to the UK once per month

In order to ensure the effective and rapid integration of the client, several Information Security related charters have been created and approved.These charters are aimed at addressing current deficiencies as well as adding new functionality and security controls. This interim role is required to initiate the projects and establish the basic delivery approach.

Services that should be delivered:

* Cross-functional, project management for the Information Security projects

* Information Security Compliance Risks Assessment.

* Matrix management of project team and vendor resources.

* Management of project schedule, scope, finances and resourcing.

* Creation and communication of project management information to the clients Programme Offices and other (senior) stakeholders.

* Creation and management of the end-to-end project delivery plan.

* Liaison with key stakeholders and alignment across programmes where relevant.

This will be reporting to Chief Information Security Officer so will need to be an experience Project Manager who has worked within large corporate organisations. They will need to travel to the client in the UK aprox once per month and liaise with colleagues in Memphis.

Global IT design, develop and deliver reliable, secure, cost effective systems and services which are run and supported to ensure business units and the division achieve sustained excellent customer service and profitability.

Objective / Purpose of the Job (describe clearly the level of responsibility and expected result)

The management of information security integration charters. Coordinating multiple work streams, liaising with multiple departments. Coordinating deliverables from multiple vendors.

Key Activities / Accountabilities

* Maintains and coordinates specific information security charters as required

* Coordinate information security charters across multiple workstreams.

* Managing dependencies across multiple projects.

* Manage tasks and deliverable across multiple vendors

* Maintain documentation and produce reports

Required education:

Educated to bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or has a proven level of experience.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge (number of years, type of experience)

Preferably, has some knowledge of information security.

Familiar with the principles and practices involved in development, maintenance and IT service delivery.

Essential working knowledge of IT project management methodology and principles

Possesses a general understanding of the business applications of IT.

Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication.

Necessary Technical / Functional Skills

* Aware of Information Security controls and best practices .

* Interacting with People establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.

* Effective and sensitive communicator in different societies and cultures.

* Familiar with Information Security Management Systems

* Broad IT knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc) and IT applications and service processes used within organisations.
