We are looking for a Financial Analyst for our client in Amsterdam


In this position as a Financial Analyst you will support the Software BU in the Netherlands. In your role you work closely together with the SW BU management Team, allowing you to gain an in depth understanding of the Dutch SW market. On top you will have close linkages to the Regional Finance teams. You will provide comprehensive financial analysis and consulting to the BU Management team. You drive detail forecasts, simulations and prepare reports/presentations to enable the business making the right decisions.

Job description:

Reporting and Analysis: Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for the SW business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives. Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope. Forecasts financial results within a broad scope. Identifies opportunities for process improvement Represents the business unit during regional planning processes. Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts. Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope, typically interacting with directors.

Governance: Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance. Manage the finance deliverables of Center of Excellence, monitor the quality of the services provided. Drive and implement process improvements to gain efficiency and effectiveness. Support Business Management in like organizational changes enabling business growth. Ensure accounting is done according to the US GAAP guidelines and policies. Maintain strong business controls, and assist in Audit requirements (e.g. Internal Audit) and Internal Reviews.
