Deze opdrachtgever behoort tot de top 5 elektriciteitstransporteurs van Europa. De focus is gericht op de ontwikkeling van een Noordwest-Europese energiemarkt, op de integratie van duurzame energie en de safety performance.

Functie-informatie:

Het gaat om fase 2 van een programma OneERP. Doel: toewerken naar een business case en besluitvorming door de Raad van Bestuur (beslissing board over de scope van het OneERP programma, waaronder IT architectuur). De opdracht vraagt. Om een combinatie van een zware IT architect (ERP) en Projectmanagement. De kandidaat is in staat om een board-decision document, een business case, een implementatieplan te bouwen.

De omschrijving:

In order to facilitate the Executive Board in reaching a final decision on the scope of the OneERP program, the following actions and steps have been identified:

Finalise the ERP Strategy. This implies compiling the already available material created in the pre-study phase by PwC on business benefits, strategic drivers and business case, and combine it with a strategic decision on delivery model (on-premise, cloud) and instance strategy (separated instances for NL and GE, or one single instance, one-tier or two-tier).

Execute Architecture Analysis on current application portfolio and processes covered by ERP, based on the pace-layered approach: which processes and components are best covered by an ERP, which are not. This is something to be executed in close cooperation between key stakeholders within the business and Architecture. The outcome of this analysis will be integrated in the ERP Strategy.

Analyse the Consequences of the scope defined in step 2:

What processes and functions in scope are already according to ERP standards

Where do we have customisations? And why?

What is needed to adjust processes or functions to fit within a plain vanilla ERP process?

Which processes or functions currently in scope of our IFS or SAP implementations, will be placed out of scope of OneERP? And how will we support these processes or functions?

Refine a Business Case for the scope defined in step 2 and further elaborated in step 3. This includes cost of the new ERP, interfacing, and implementation of possible new systems for functions previously supported by IFS-ERP and/or SAP-ERP.

To support the client in taking the above actions and steps, we are looking for a seasoned ERP Program Advisor.

Role description

The ERP Program Advisor is a senior-level position that provides leadership and insight to bring the OneERP program further for the client. The ERP Program Advisor works closely together with senior management and serves as an expert resource on ERP. The ERP Program Advisor is able to mobilise stakeholders, holds program management experience and has a good insight in the ERP market and architectural issues related to ERP implementations. Broad knowledge of and experience with industry and IT trends, such as commoditisation, (business process) outsourcing, cloud computing, big data and analytics and mobile working are indispensable.

The ERP Program Advisor will act as project manager to manage the 4 steps as mentioned above, resulting in a decision by the Executive Board on how to proceed with the OneERP program, before the end of June 2017.

Primary responsibilities

The ERP Program Advisor’s primary responsibilities will be:

Leadership to execute ERP Strategy definition, Architecture Analysis, Impact Analysis and high-level Business Case development for the OneERP scope to be defined. This maps to the MSP-phase Identifying a Programme.

Provide expert input on ERP.

Delivery of decision document for the Executive Board on the scope of the OneERP program.

Required experience

The ideal ERP Program Advisor will hold the following experience:

A strong background in IT and utilities-specific work, preferably 10+ years.

A successfully completed ERP selection and/or implementation project in his or her portfolio, from the past 3 years.

Comfort advising senior-level management.

Experience in program and project management.

PgMP, PMP and/or MSP certified.

Knowledge and Skills

Deep knowledge of available ERP packages in the market (e.g. SAP, IFS, MS Dynamics, Oracle) and their strong and weak points.

Insight in recent developments in ERP (e.g. post-modern ERP) and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), and related architecture concepts (cloud, SaaS, pace-layering).

Analyse and understand business and process requirements along with technical design and implementation.

Good knowledge of big data & analytics and mobile working.

Fluent in English. German is a big plus.
