Embedded software engineer

Within the software development team we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Maintain, extend and improve the embedded software as well as maintaining the build environment for the embedded software. This includes making releases to the project on a regular basis. Analyse and eventually fix problems in the current systems. As well as integration and testing of these embedded software changes.
The software team consists of 4 persons, but he or she has to cooperate with the rest of the multidisciplinary project colleagues.

Matching tho following requirements:
– Bachelor degree in Software;
– Approximately 5 years of work experience;
– Minimal learning curve with respect to the organization, software architecture and tooling we use;
– Profound knowledge of UML (Unified Modeling Language).

Experience with:
– Real-time embedded software;
– Software development environments (compiler, linker, makefiles, etc.) in general and RSA-RTE in particular;
– C / C++, GIT, with reverse engineering, with software development process (integration, testing);
– Machine controlled systems in a production environment (not PLC);
– Experience with UNIX / HP-UX / Linux.

Furthermore:
– You are a fast learner;
– You must be able to work independent and as part of the team;
– Good communicational skills;
– Profound knowledge – verbal and written – of Dutch and or English;
– Permissioned to work in the Netherlands, and able to provide, if requested, a certificate of conduct.
