Twyp is such a App and developed by our endclient.
 
It is an innovative new brand within our client, which aims to become the new standard for peer 2 peer payments in Europe.
The initiative was in project mode during 2015, but – with the launch in Spain and the Netherlands – Twyp has now turned into a fully operating business.  Much more exciting times are ahead with more countries to follow, with many more users to acquire.

Your job description
We are looking for a software engineer specialized in the development of  Android applications. As an engineer, you will work within a team of DevOps, UX and business colleagues to build upon a continuously improving Application.
You should have strong knowledge and experience in designing, building and maintaining a native Android application. Your main focus will be on Android, but backend (Java) experience is an advantage.
Furthermore, as we are handling sensitive customer data; knowledge and experience about security (eg. encryption, SSL) is a big plus. The app is quality will be controlled by fully automated and manual tests for which the candidate will be responsible as well.
 
Skills required:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable (HBO opleiding)
5 or more years of experience in Java development experience
3 or more years of native Android development experience
Experience in user interface development
Experience with test driven development & test automation
Knowledge of continuous Integration tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus and are able to configure these tools.
You have knowledge of XML, JSON, web-services, REST, security.
Knowledge of HTML5, Mobile Web App technology, JavaScript
Good social and communication skills
Good English skills
Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
