Java Web Engineer

Met ervaring in een Agile / scrum en continuous delivery environment.

You will develop together with your scrum team software for several projects. You have experience in developing Java web applications. You are enthusiastic and always actively looking for improvements.

Working according to the latest methods

In the function of Java Development Engineer you will be working within a squad (team). Squads are teams consisting of Development and Operations engineers and Customer Journey experts who have a joint goal to develop and manage one or several applications.

As Development Engineer Do you mainly focus on developing and testing applications. Your work as a Development Engineer is very diverse, but to your main tasks / focus areas include:

* Contribute to the further implementation of Continuous delivery

* Refining the product backlog with the team and the Product Owner

* Develop software;

* Develop and implement (automated) test cases

* Analyze and solve bugs and defects

The squads use the Agile / Scrum methodology and Continuous delivery Engineering Practices.

You will work in a squad in order to realize user stories on the backlog of the team.

As a Dev Engineer you will work together with your enthusiastic and professional colleagues in a squad which is responsible for the realization and management of applications. In your job you have direct impact on client satisfaction, and obviously it is expected of you that the customer interest comes first in your work.

Knowledge and experience required

* Minimum 5 years experience in developing Java Enterprise applications, experience with Spring JEE 3/4 and 6.0 / 7.0

* Demonstrated experience in a complex organization with Spring, HTML, CSS, Javascript 5/6 and preferably angularJS

* Knowledge and experience with agile / scrum methodologies and DevOps

* Knowledge of Continuous delivery process and tooling (eg Jenkins, Nolio, Nexus, Sonar, Git, test automation tooling)

* Knowledge of and experience with NodeJS, Grunt / Gulp, Bower
