Scope of Work:

*

Do the planning and coordination for all activities associated with the roll-out of IT projects and releases in the client’s Production environment. This includes preparing the required documents which govern the roll-out, track the progress of the roll-out, create medium and short term detailed planning, attend project meetings and host virtual team meetings with representatives from various technical teams.

*

You are close to the project but this job only focuses on the delivery and roll out. Loads of planning to be done. Need to make sure that the planning is aligned with other activities. The roll out is the most important.

*

Work closely and liaise with:

*

Project Managers and Developers (always in remote locations like HQ, US or Asia) to plan deployment schedules in line with (internal and external) project milestones

*

Operational Teams (local and remote locations) to agree on their ability and capacity to perform implementations, and align this schedule with all other changes and activities planned during maintenance windows.

Skills/Requirements and experience level

*

Project management 1-3 years

*

Planning and coordination of project and release roll-out 1-5 years

*

Microsoft Project Server 1-3 years

*

Excellent documentation and tracking skills 1-5 years

*

English (both written and verbal) 3-5 years

Team structure:

*

Position in a team in the Datacentre in Leiden region, with 6 staff based locally and 2 in remote locations (HK and CH)

*

Mirror team with same responsibilities and scope is based in US

*

This is not a role for a Senior project manager
