For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Citrix XenApp specialist. The Citrix team, is responsible for delivering a highly automated, resilient, secure and SelfService enabled Citrix XenApp Infrastructure. This service enables the customers to publish their Business Applications centrally and then access them remotely, from any location or workstation. The team is working to highly automate as much of the tasks as possible, so the customers are flexible in using their Service and can adapt to changes in their needs quickly, while remaining in control. They do this by using the Citrix XenApp software suite and RES One Workspace, combined with custom scripts. These Application Virtualization products rely on a virtualized Windows environment, supported by the Microsoft System Center suite.

Job description:

You will be working in a small team of 4 highly flexible dev engineers. Together with the product owner and the team, you will be end-to-end responsible for the delivery, maintenance and development of the Citrix infrastructure service and stack.

This will entail:

• Automation scripting using PowerShell and developing or implementing API’s


• Implementing, testing and maintaining the software products (Citrix XenApp, VDA, RES One Workspace) on the Windows operating system


• Educating the customers on the usage of our products


• Working in short cycled sprints in an agile way of working

The Citrix team is backed by a Windows&IIS team, a Pipeline team (System Center) and an SQL&SharePoint team.
