We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer for a contract role with a Banking company.

Tasks:

Help setup the new Azure stack;
Setting up cost management from the start;
Providing knowledge and best practices where needed;
Help design the migration paths for workloads on AWS.

Hard skills:

Proven knowledge and experience with Azure (1 – 3 years);
Terraform: Confident writing HCL and applying best practices;
Kubernetes Ecosystem: Understands its building blocks and knows how to work with it as a part of the application lifecycle;
Containerized workloads: Experience using container technology and experience deploying applications;
Proven knowledge in automating Dev, Sec and Ops using CI/CD;
Understands the importance of security in the public cloud and in containerized applications

Soft Skills:

Able to create and maintain good relationships with developers;
Think along with the application developers on new functionalities needed from the platform;
Focus on learning and knowledge sharing;
Likes to experiment;
Focus on standardization and quality;
Not afraid to speak up;
Likes to be part of a team and work together with other team members (like pair programming, etc);…
