Our client is looking for an enthusiastic test automation specialist.
  
Objective of the function
The test automation specialist develops, together with an Agile/Scrum team, online and backend applications and portals. Innovation, Reliability and high quality solutions are key when it comes to the software development. Test Driven Development, unit testing, test automation, continues integration and continuous delivery are therefor always in scope of the projects that are in the hands of the Agile/Scrum teams. There is an intensive collaboration with application management departments and the focus is shifting gradually towards Dev/Ops making the teams front-to-back responsible for their product.
They uses the following technologies and frameworks: Java 1.6, JScript, JSF, AngularJS, Spring MVC, Spring WS, JUnit, Sonar, Jenkins, Maven, Hibernate, SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber, Jira and Crucible. Proven experience in Java and SQL is strongly preferred.
 
Tasks
Develop and test Java based online and backend applications and portals
Support on solving production disruptions, conducting research into the root cause and drafting amendments;
 
Requirements
In depth knowledge and experience with test automation
Knowledge of Java and and SQL scripting;
Hands-on mentality;
Communicative and collaborative;
Experience with Agile/Scrum development method;
Team player who is able to communicate well with all parties involved;
Experience in Banking Sector and transaction processing is preferred.
Dutch & English communication skills (verbally & written)
