The programme for which we are recruiting is an initiative within Global Finance to assess the role of finance and key finance capabilities in driving a strategic agenda in our European business. This includes the assessment and potential scoping/implementation of a new core Finance ERP platform.  The programme, along with other initiatives, form part of a wider transformation agenda.
 
The scope is on transactional finance processes across Europe and the programme will:

• In an AGILE way, deliver a universal business language and in an incremental way deliver (digital) features and functions changing our backoffice foundation in line with our vision and intent.
• Transform business operation and information management systems touching functions: Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Procurement.
• Improve customer, supplier and employee experience, drive end-2-end process improvement in back office processes and strengthen our control environment.

Description of activities:
Offer proactive support to the programme leadership team to ensure the programme is set up correctly with robust plans, dedicated teams and lean budgets and ensure information can be easily consolidated across the programme:

• Contribute to the development of the PMO strategy and service catalogue, defining the PMO’s guidelines, methodology, procedures and templates to collect and maintain consistent data
• Contribute to the development of the program (Agile) methodology and be the champion of the methodology towards the delivery teams.
• Ensuring that investments and initiatives in the program align with the organisational strategy and priorities
• Keep track of sprint teams progress, programme financials and support the programme leadership team and scrum masters in adequately reporting on this to the executive sponsors
• Maintain the integrated planning in the scheduling tool (Open Workbench or MS Project) for waterfall projects within the programe portfolio
• Provide active support services to the programme leadership teams and scrum masters such as methodology ambassadorship, program increment and sprint planning facilitation, etc.
• Monitor resolution of issues, risks and actions and initiates discussions on resolving the issues
• Tracking risks including monitoring of mitigating actions
