Corporate Information Management (IMC) supports the optimal continuity of the business processes within the client. IMC consists of Basic IT Services, Generic IT Services, Strategic IT services and Information Management Office.

The department Market & Asset Data NL(NMA) focusses on IT issues for which there are no standard solutions available. NMA delivers specific IT solutions to her customers Digital Transformation Corporate (DTC), Asset Management, Grid Service, Large Projects, System Operations and Offshore.

The Digital Transformation Corporate (DTC) programme implements the clients on advancing the use of data and analytics to the benefit of internal operations and society. This will be realized amongst others by introducing data governance processes and the implementation of the Client Data Platform (TDP).

The TDP implements solutions for data integration and big data use cases. One of the prominent parts of this platform is a discovery platform where innovative and iterative business use cases are implemented. The goal of this platform is to realize first implementations in a fast and agile manner, before it is handed over to the more standardized and scaled maintenance environment.

To support the implementation of these innovative use cases in the clients Data Platform a small and dedicated Fastlane/DevOps team is formed. Apart from realizing use cases, the team is involved in implementing and extending the IT platform and the big data capabilities following an agile approach.

You support innovative business use cases in the transformation of business ideas in the field of data integration and big data to IT solutions. These IT solutions can either be first implementations of complex data transformation solutions or governed implementations within the systematic IT landscape. You are working in a multi-disciplinary team in close cooperation with other IT experts and business representatives.

Your main activities are

* Design, build, test and document data integration and big data solutions in an innovative environment with Oracle SOA and ETL tooling and Open Source Big Data products

* Develop the TDP IT landscape, the architecture and the development- and operations processes

* Transforming business ideas to IT solutions in close cooperation with your team members and business and IT stakeholders

* You are participating and contributing to a small DevOps / Agile Scrum team.

Knowledge

* You have a completed Bachelor or Master degree from a technical IT faculty

* You have experience with at least one of the following configurations:

* You have at least 3 year demonstrable experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, for example Spark, R and NoSQL solutions like Cassandra.

* You are familiar with the Oracle Data Integration, SOA Suite and Streaming Analytics products.

* You are familiar with the Oracle Business Rules Manager, B2B Adapters and Oracle Event Processing modules within the Oracle SOA Suite and the SOA Suite Management Pack

* You are familiar with the ODI Management Pack, the Oracle Data Integrator Pack for Hadoop and the Oracle Data Integrator Pack for Big Data

* You have knowledge of implementing Model Driven Architecture, Big Data Patterns, Data Warehouse concepts, UML EAI- and SOA patterns

* Basic knowledge of supportive tooling like Sparx Enterprise Architect, XML-Spy and SAP PowerDesigner

* A clear vision on how to implement and use the tools above “by-the-book” in order to setup the best possible configuration in the discovery environment.

* Basic understanding of the entire architecture of the discovery environment, and understanding of the interdependencies between the different products.

* Able to fulfil a senior role in cooperating with other disciplines and transfer of knowledge to junior staff

* Proven experience in agile working environments for innovative development

* Strong in communication and cooperation with different stakeholders within the Business departments and IT

* Fluency in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing. Fluency in German is a plus.

* A strong team player with a “getting it done” mentality

* Willingness to travel to our German offices on an occasional basis.
