Position:

As a managing director your task is to further develop the market share of the company in the Dutch business software ecosystem by executing an assertive growth strategy with a primary focus on acquisitions in the Netherlands.

This role has a particular emphasis on being able to develop and articulate a clear strategic development plan focused on acquisitions, organic growth, business development, customer excellence, service development and restructuring with a proactive culture and collaborative way of working such that their long term business is sustainable in Europe. This role will be based in the Netherlands. The role holder would need to converse fluently and have a high level of literacy in English and Dutch as a minimum.

You must be a highly motivated self-starter with a wide network of contacts within the potential client base, partner and supply chain with the ability to think and operate on a strategic and tactical level.

Required skills and background:

▪ Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities in Business Administration / Economics / Engineering field, preferably coupled with a master degree.

▪ Proven business development, sales, bidding, acquisition and client relationship experience gained in results-oriented environments; demonstrated success in developing and implementing growth strategies

▪ Broad based leadership experience in corporate environments.

▪ Experience within a disruptive environment.

▪ History of operating at senior management level with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sectors relevant for the role

▪ Ability to initiate and create business processes and organization from scratch

▪ Effective communication skills

▪ P&L responsibility

▪ Highly developed leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills

▪ Demonstrated ability to set, seek agreement to and deliver own agenda

▪ Ability to work with a team with a diverse set of skills; gain support effectively , manage performance and earn their trust

▪ Tested strategic ability, strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills; proven track record in creating plans that are effectively linked to the overall business strategy

▪ Understanding of corporate governance

▪ Excellent presentational skills both oral and written in Dutch and English. Self-starter who has a high degree of personal resilience

▪ Highly customer oriented, possessing natural credibility and gravitas

▪ Excellent influencer; not dictatorial, but encourages others to think organization wide by promoting benefits of doing so
