Senior Actuarial Risk Manager
Startdate: 3 February 2017
Duration: 3 Months +
As Risk Manager, you are responsible for reviewing, analyzing and reporting of Solvency II, MCVNB, and Economic Framework results for internal and external stakeholders. You work with and mange and support country units to ensure that appropriate management information is collected for aggregated MCVNB, Economic framework and Solvency II group reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
* You will focus on consistency of results across the different paradigms.
* You will take part in strategic projects and M&A activities and will support the Group Risk model validation team on specific validation tasks.
* You will be responsible for the review, analysis and management reporting of extreme events, sensitivities and reverse stress testing and you will be involved in production of the Solvency II Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and the Regular Supervisory Report (RSR).
* You will organize the review of Solvency II, MCVNB and Economic Framework results as part of the Mid term planning and work with all stakeholders.
Requirements
As an actuarial Risk Manager you have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Also, you are able to challenge conventional practices and pursue continuous improvement to make the client better. Furthermore, you see yourself as a leader with leadership qualities to match.
* Actuarial qualification required
* A minimum of 5 -8 years’ experience in the insurance industry and/or insurance consulting industry
* Good knowledge of Solvency II models and actuarial valuation principles
* Knowledge of market consistent reporting paradigm
* Knowledge of insurance products across multiple jurisdictions and across reporting paradigms desirable
* Fluency in English (both written and oral) and Dutch
* Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams
