Purpose of the position

Prepare and align project specifications for the execution of mechanical projects, including the specification of utilities, equipment, materials and operating parameters.

Tasks & responsibilities
•prepare project details, scope and cost estimate for the execution of the planned mechanical works in order for a contractor to offer a price;
•support the preparation of technical proposals for improvements of technical installations;
•assist in the technical assessment of installations to establish a technical state of current and new installations;
•support the execution of the project plan for different project phases;
•deliver input to main engineering contractor and review design work;
•review engineering documents and quality during the execution of the mechanical works;
•support processes required for the selection of a contractor for the mechanical works on technical issues or the preparation and selection of a long term contract;
•support or promote new products and methods related to mechanical works.
