· Able to develop new functionality in Java using the Spring framework.

Knowledge and Experience
· Good knowledge of Java front end and back end development
· Good knowledge of HTML5
· Knowledge of SOAP, REST
· Knowledge of the java Spring framework
· Knowledge of JBoss/Apache/Tomcat
· Knowledge of MySQL
· Knowledge of Linux
· Knowledge of Flex (preferred)
· Strong scripting skills

Summary of the Project or Department
DocStore is a platform within business unit Identification used for the delivery of product related documentation and software to its customers in a secure way. The platform is growing fast and because of this success we are now expanding the usage towards other business units within NXP.

Description of Assignment
Please note that this involves a long term assignment in Eindhoven, short term commitments will not be taken into consideration.

We are looking for a Java lead developer / architect with good knowledge of Linux/JBoss/Apache/Tomcat who can take up the following tasks:
· Maintain the DocStore architecture and future roadmap together with the business and stakeholders.
· Translate business requirements to workable solutions.
· Ensure that all (security) aspects of the DocStore platform are up to date and that new technologies are explored.
· Develop new features for the DocStore platform (front end and back end) together with the development team
· Provide technical support and guidance to other team members if required.

· Able to determine the severity of a reported issue.
· Able to determine what the impact is for the running platform when a fix is applied.

Responsibility
· Ensure that the DocStore platform is up to date and that it meets all security needs.
· Develop new features as requested by the business
· Maintain the current DocStore platform in a pro-active way.
· Maintain and define the DocStore architecture and roadmap
