Senior Officer Project Management / Senior Project Manager (deta-vast).

Wij zijn op zoek naar een Project Manager voor onze opdrachtgever in Amsterdam. Het betreft een deta-vast aanvraag met de mogelijkheid om na 3-6 maanden in dienst te treden bij onze opdrachtgever.

Inzet: 3-6 maanden
Locatie: Amsterdam

Purpose of the job:
Primary ongoing responsibility for the management of projects. Focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, etc.
Keeping track of budgets, actuals, allocated resources, specific deadlines and functionalities.

Functional objectives & responsibilities
· Plans, monitors, reports and manages projects from initiation through completion, including resource planning,
· Able to liaise with senior stakeholders of any project,
· Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met,
· May participate in the design and/or testing phases,
· Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, documentation, schedule and budget versus actual costs/hours spend,
· Initiate changes requests when due.

Experience and knowledge
· Academic thinking level with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of managing complex projects,
· Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools,
· Certification in project management is preferred, for instance on Prince 2,
· Experience in financial industry preferred.

· Form constructive working relationships with colleagues and clients,
· Focus on and manage multiple priorities and deliverables,
· Is proactive and takes ownership,
· Analytical,
· Fluid in English (verbal and written).
