To ensure the stability, continuity, capacity and performance of the company’s infrastructure with strong focus on maintaining exceptionally high level of uptime and response time to enable business critical high volume transactions, by managing the circa 10 people in the Infrastructure Services team. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Director of Infrastructure and Service Management. The role is also responsible for the design and implementation of the infrastructure elements to support projects, processes and functions which are required by all departments across the organization. Where appropriate, the Senior Engineer will be expected to directly contribute to the departmental design and support activities. Over the long run, major changes to the platform are anticipated. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will run the associated projects, including creating support within the teams and coordinating efforts.

Deliverables / Tasks

• Supporting the development and communication of the infrastructure strategy 
  
• Management of the infrastructure team 
  
• Implementation of infrastructure designs and provision of general technical support 
  
• Responsible for management of all Infrastructure 3rd parties including the redevelopment of contracts and SLA’s 
  
• Support the implementation of a professional infrastructure service desk 
  
• Implementation of ITIL and the organization to support the required processes and procedures 
  
• Identify and support the implementation of the budget associated with the above
