For our international client in Rijswijk we are looking for a Storage Consultant.

End: 31-12-2016
40 hrs./week

PURPOSE:
The primary role of this position is to:
– Operate data and storage services on a day-to-day basis
– Deliver operational services against compliance and service management processes
– Driving continuous service improvement and efficiency gains through improved solutions, tools, reporting, and utilities
– Delivery of agreed release management and deployment activities.
– Delivery of agreed activities for projects, including internal, service improvement projects, and supplier projects.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
– Lead to repeatable outcomes by insuring standards and procedures are followed.
– Lead the delivery of operational services against compliance and service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
– Lead continuous service improvement and efficiency gains through improved solutions, tools, reporting, and utilities
– Deliver against agreed release management and deployment activities (infrastructure, applications and data) at a global level
– Drive work of the team across service lines and with suppliers and vendors to deliver services within service levels
– Drive a secure mindset within the team.
– Technical expertise in services, applications, and tools in scope of support.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
– Candidate must have leadership experience, either direct or indirect.
– Candidate must have technical expertise at an administrator level in Linux.
– Experience with Landmark’s R5000 suite and/or sub-surface Data Management background a plus.
– ITIL IT management processes (ability to operate stringent Change, Incident, Problem, Request, Asset Management and Release Management regimes)
– Experience having to prioritize and make appropriate trade-offs in work activities.
– Experience interfacing with customers, end-users, service providers and vendors to develop and maintain effective relationships.
– Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as a good command of the English Language both verbal and written.
