Our client is looking for an competent Development Engineer with a passion for IT.
As an engineer you will be working in a 6-8 persons squad in the IT Area “Arrears & Generics”. Within this Area work is being done in a DevOps manner. Scrum/Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices are very important within our Area.
 
Work environment
Within a Datawarehouse and a predictive analytics solution are built for the Arrears department. These solutions are being developed and maintained by squad Hollywood.
Our cleint is building a new data architecture for structured and unstructured data, called Data Lake, the Arrears Datawarehouse will be part of the CIO NL Data Lake.
High on the Hollywood agenda for the first half of 2016 is the extension of the Datawarehouse from secured customer data with unsecured customer data.
 
We (Hollywood) operate according to the Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to delivering IT solutions. The focus is on high-quality mission-critical software delivered in time using iterative development with regular milestone demos to the business, so that at the end there are no surprises about what we build.
 
Job description
Together with your team you are building and maintaining the Datawarehouse and predictive analytics solutions used by different business and IT parties. You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform’s capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way.

– Development and support of Data Datawarehouses
– ETL, data modelling (Normalization, Kimball, Data Vault), information analysis
– SQL/Stored procedures
– AIX/Linux shell scripting
– Test driven development
– Netezza, Data Stage, TWS-d
– Continuous delivery, automating deployments (Nolio, Artifactory, Jenkins, GIT), automating testing (FitNesse/DbFit),
– Datawarehouse migration
– Risk & security documentation, code scans (Fortify), Port scans, Role-based Access Control
– Predictive Analytics (R and INZA)
– ELK stack (Elastic Search, Log Stash, Kibana)
