To develop, implement and realize the strategy for the assigned category. All within corporate requirements and guidelines to ensure results on all KPI’s as defined with BG and to contribute to the overall result the client.

a) Key areas of accountability/responsibility:
Develops and deploys vision and approved plan for her/his category and provides input to the Team Lead and Purchasing Director when implementing Regional/Global plan
• Contributes actively to the Business Purchase Plan by developing saving opportunities;
• Reports status of saving initiatives on a regular basis;

Responsible for category strategy development as to deliver maximum value:
• Defines and validates the regional/global procurement strategy using internal and external analysis;
• Accountable for internal and external analysis in collaboration with internal stakeholders, Sourcing Analysts;
• Prepares and lead fact-based negotiations and selects supplier;
• Leads contract implementation and resolves important issues;
• Manages/evaluates contract compliance, data management and supplier performance and take necessary corrective actions;
• Evaluates and renews contract by identifying and prioritizing opportunities for reduction of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)…
