SCCM Global Roll-out project
The project has designed and implemented a global SCCM 2016 infrastructure that delivers the deployment of the Common Operating Workplace (COW) and related software. This new service is to be used on all sites.
Next step of the project is to support all local IT organizations in the process of making use of this new SCCM service. Some sites are now making use of SCCM 2012 or other local deployment tooling.
Deliverable will be:
· 32 local IT organizations trained in the use of the SCCM Software Deployment Service
o Successful deployment of 5 computers with the COW
o Successful deployment of 5 applications deployed to the COW
Workload
The SCCM Support Specialist will interact with the organizations`Operations for SCCM related issues. Together with the project manager he will be in daily contact with local sites to support, train and motivate the local IT staff.
Main activities of the SCCM Support Specialist will be to support local IT in:
§ – setting up the service and working according the user manuals
§ – deploying the COW to a maximum of 5 workstations
§ – deploying applications to the COW
§ – test the migration of application packages from SCCM 2012 to SCCM 2016
§ – addressing all related questions and issues in starting to make use of this new service
